What do I do if my Internet or DTV will not come on after a power outage?
Power cycle your devices. If you have these things plugged into a power strip or battery backup, the fastest way is to turn the power strip or battery backup off and then back on.
How should the cables plug into my modem if I have DTV?
There are four ports on the back of your modem. If you do not have Internet, then your set-top boxes can plug into any of the four ports. If you do have Internet, the port labeled "1" should plug into an Internet device and NOT a set-top box.
What are the settings if I want to program my email address to Outlook or my phone?
When will my bills be issued? When must they be paid by?
Bills are issued on the 1st of the month. All bills issued on the 1st must be paid by the 10th of the month. A "Final Notice" is issued on the 11th for any or all bills not paid by the previous day. Included in your "Final Notice" is a disconnect date by which you must pay your overdue bills or be subject to disconnection of your services. A fee of $20 and a service order charge of $4 is required for reconnection. If your account has been previously disconnected for non-payment, a deposit to reestablish credit may also be required. What are the settings if I want to program my email address to Outlook or my phone?
- The following will work on Outlook or any other program on your computer.
- The account type is IMAP.
- The incoming and outgoing servers are the same. This will be either bizmail.scatui.net or resmail.scatui.net.
- Your username is your email address.
- Your password was assigned to you when the email address is created. Once you log in, you can change your password in the preference menus. At this time, there is no way to retrieve a forgotten password if you cannot log in. You must contact SCATUI for a password reset.
- Incoming and outgoing servers both require SSL.
- The incoming port number is 993 and the outgoing port number is 465.
- Your outgoing server requires authentication. You can use the same settings as the incoming mail server.
- Numbers 7 & 8 are specific to programs like Outlook. On a Blackberry, you only need to set the incoming server. On an iPhone, use the port number for the outgoing server that the phone sets for you.
